General Information

Matheson Hammock Park is a small beach launch with mostly shallow water kiteboarding areas.  This launch can get extremely crowded on weekends. The best wind directions are East and South East.  Advanced riders can also ride here in North East and South winds.

Directions

1. Take I-95 South to Route US 1 South. 

2. Drive about 3-4 miles on US 1 South to 42nd Ave. Le Jeune Rd.

3. Turn left on 42nd Ave. Le Jeune Rd. After about two miles , you will drive straight through a traffic circle and Le Jeune Rd. becomes Old. Cutler Rd.

4. Drive two miles until you see the Matheson Hammock sign on the right hand side.

5. Turn left into the park and drive another mile to the large parking lot.  The kiteboard launch is the small beach on the left.
